Content | This course offers an introduction to the study of English-language narrative literature, its main texts and key genres. Details will be announced at the beginning of the term. |
Learning objectives | The course will focus on narrative literature of various genres and introduce students to important periods in literary and cultural history. Students will acquire basic tools for the analysis of literary texts and learn about different theoretical approaches towards narrative literature. |
Bibliography | A selection of excerpts and short stories will be made available online. The literature for this course will also include a novel that will be announced in the first week and should be purchased right away. |
