Content Conduct disorder (CD) is a mental disorder of childhood and adolescence, and is characterized by repeated patterns of rule-breaking and aggressive behavior that is outside the appropriate age norm. A clinical diagnosis of CD affects familial, academic, and/or occupational functioning and can result in sub-stantial societal costs. In our lab we employ child-friendly techniques in order to conduct paediatric neuroimaging sessions with children and adolescents with and without conduct problems, ranging from 6-18 years of age. Using structural and functional MRI we aim to inform about the neural processes related to emotion processing, emotion regulation, early maltreatment, language difficulties, etc. We are looking for master students interested in brain imaging, with a high motivation to work with children and families with-in a clinical setting.
