Content | This course offers an introduction to the study of literature. Details will be announced at the beginning of term. |
Learning objectives | Students will acquire the methodological tools necessary for the analysis of literary texts. The course will focus on the three main genres of literature (poetry, prose, and drama) and introduce students to important periods in literary history (from Early Modern to the present). In addition, students will become acquainted with the basics of film analysis. They will also learn how to conduct research and how to engage in academic discourse. |

As places are limited for each section, you are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible to secure your preferred time slot. Note: Once a section is fully booked, you will need to sign up for one of the alternative sections. Please also note that the attendance list for the section will be based on the Doodle (and not Online Services/MOnA).
