Content | The lectures are introducing new techniques to study the pathophysiology of various human diseases. The genetic approaches include several animal models, organoids and "state of the art" molecular biological techniques, e.g. genomics, next generation sequencing technique and single cell analysis. |
Learning objectives | The aim of the lecture series is to get more insights into the applications of modern molecular biological techniques to study the pathophysiology of human diseases and how these techniques can be used to develop new treatment modalities for human diseases. The lectures give examples, how these techniques have already been applied to specific human genetic diseases. |
