| Content | Introduction of the current techniques to generate animal models for human diseases (1-2 lectures). Lectures of various disease models, their use to undertand the mechanisms of the diseases and also to test new treatment modalities |
| Learning objectives | The students will understand the potential of the animal models in molecular medicine and in medical and pharmaceutical applications in various disease areas. |
| Admission requirements | The lecture series is open for everybody. Postdoctoral scientists, master/doctoral students (Pharmaceutical Sciences/ Biology) etc.. Registration optional (recommended) |
