Content Toxic effects on the follwing organs are going to be discussed:
Kidney, bone marrow, heart, skin, liver, lung, skeletal muscle.
Specific points of discussion will mainly be the clinical presentation, mechanisms of toxicity and possible therapies.
Learning objectives The students know the reactions of the organs described on toxic insults: organ-specific general reactions and toxin-specific reactions
The students know prophylactic measures tio avoid toxicity
The students know the principles of therapy of such toxicities
