Content This lecture serie will provide basic knowledge in molecular aspects of neurological diseases. The lecture will include a general introduction into the topic as well as a discussion of the latest results in the field. Follwoing diseases are discussed: Bipolar disorders, Prion disease, Neurodegenerative dementia, Parkinson disease, Epilepsy, CNS tumors, Demyelinating diseases, Stroke, Triplet repeat disease, Motor neuron disease and Trauma

Admission requirements The lectures are part of the Postgraduate Program in Neuroscience and aim at students of the Molecular Biology Master program of the Biocenter, at PhD students and postdocs who are interested in Neuroscience. All the graduate students who aim to obtain a PhD in enuroscience should attend these lectures.
