| Content | "What came to be called 'Bloomsbury' by the outside world never existed in the form given to it by the outside world", says Leonard Woolf in his autobiography. Yet 'Bloomsbury' has become a cultural fact, and we will explore the writings, the art, the projects and ideas of such members of the Bloomsbury Group as Leonard and Virginia Woolf, Vanessa Bell, Roger Fry, Lytton Strachey and E.M. Forster in the early decades of the twentieth century in London. |
