72801-01 - Seminar: Thinking Europeanization of Education in a Time of Globalization and Traveling Policies 2 CP

Semester fall semester 2024
Course frequency Once only
Lecturers
Content The course will present studies on the Europeanization of education, questioning the similarities and differences in policy trajectories followed by the European Union's country members. It will show how these evolutions are also linked to a Global Reform Movement, which requires a new reading by the sociology of education, beyond a national vision of these issues.
Learning objectives The aim is to familiarize students with the most recent developments in sociology and comparative studies in education, while teaching them how to situate their research and case studies within these global transformations.
