| Content | This course is a basic introduction to quantum theory. The outline is the following. 1-Linear algebra 2-Quantum theory : axioms and principles 3-The qubit 4-The Bloch Sphere 5-Entanglement 7-Quantum teleportation 8-No-cloning 9-Bell non-locality 10-Quantum key distribution |
| Learning objectives | The aim is to introduce fascinating quantum concepts like quantum teleportation, quantum no-cloning theorem and Bell non-locality and to show how they can be used for applied physics, e.g. to communicate securely. |
