Content | Seminars in the form of Roundtable Discussions: "Research flashes", peer review, critical reflection, updates for scientific methodology |
Learning objectives | Research Roundtable discussions aim to enhance scientific knowledge among PhD students and to foster the exchange of ideas and concepts among peers and senior scientists. PhD students will: - reflect on their methodological approach and deepen their scientific understanding - take part in the scientific discourse by critically reflecting and analysing other people's work and argue/defend a particular point of view - improve their competencies in providing constructive peer feedback - improve communication and oral presentation skills through the presentation of scientific work (i.e. in the form of proposal, paper, and poster presentations) - develop a systematic approach in defending an argument - deepen their methodological understanding |
