Content The seminar Aesthetics from the Margins explores historical and theoretical debates on sense perception, ideation and world-making, and links these to marginality as a concept used in postcolonial criticism. We alternate this seminar with the Thursday lecture series on Aesthetics from the Margins (52040-01), and have in-depth discussions with the guest lecturers
Learning objectives Students are introduced to historical and theoretical scholarship on aesthetics and world-making in the colony and post-colony

 

Admission requirements Participants are expected to attend the public lectures on Thursdays (every 2nd week), 18-20, (52040-01).
