Content Description: The module with take participants through the process of conceiving and producing a systematic review. Each step will be followed according to the best practices. Students will be guided through the whole process and will use the tools available to complete the tasks (e.g. RevMan).

Implementing search strategies
Inclusions and exclusion criteria
Risk of Bias assessment
Data extraction
Narrative syntheses
Meta-analyses
Interpretation
Reporting
Learning objectives By the end of the module, students will have acquired to skis to carry out a systematic review.
Comments Tool needed: Review Manager (Cochrane Collaboration)
Methods: Practical sessions to carry out the different steps of a systematic review

 

Admission requirements Familiarity with the basics of epidemiological study designs, quantitative and qualitative data and systematic reviews methods
