Content | The objective of the course is to learn fundamental concepts of GIS and remote sensing to understand and apply simple to advanced analyses of geospatial data. Lectures cover the basics of GIS, visualisation techniques, manipulation of spatial data (vector and raster), geographic overlay, spatial analysis and geostatistics. The practical sessions will allow students to gain familiarity with computer architecture and build basic skills in GIS such as adding, visualising, analysing and modelling data to create maps and cartographical data. |
