Learning objectives Impact of active transport and metabolism on absorption and disposition.
The participants will aquire key competence in the field of drug discovery and development. The following topics will be discussed:
Drug transport across the blood-brain barrier
Ocular and pulmonary drug delivery
Drug targeting
Nanoparticles
Drug Delivery Devices – current concepts
Medical Devices from an industry perspective (drugs, drug development, delivery systems and delivery and combination device development)
