Content The colloquium presents contemporary studies on the relevance for the social and related sciences. We will present qualitative and quantitative studies, and we will endeavor to also feature new methodological approaches. We focus on studies relating to local and global social structures, change, and transitions.

Im Kolloquium werden aktuelle empirische Studien mit Relevanz für die Sozialwissenschaften präsentiert und diskutiert. Dabei stehen verschiedene methodische Vorgehen ebenso wie die durch diese erworbenen Erkenntnisse im Fokus. Den thematischen Schwerpunkt bilden Studien zu sozialen Strukturen und sozialen Transitionen.
Learning objectives Participants will
- Expand their competences in assessing scientific work and research
- Learn how to critique scientific work constructively
- Be exposed to multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary research
- Expand their knowledge horizon about empirical social research

Die Teilnehmenden haben
- ihre Kompetenzen für wissenschaftliches Arbeiten und Forschen vertieft,
- gelernt, konstruktive Kritik zu üben.
- multidisziplinäre und transdisziplinäre Forschungsansätze verstanden.
- ihren wissenschaftlichen Horizont zur empirischen Sozialforschung erweitert.
