55413-01 - Colloquium: Sustainability Science Research (social dimension) 1 CP

Content Based on the presentation of ongoing research projects (Master theses, PhD theses etc.), students analyze and discuss thematic and methodological questions related to current disciplinary and interdisciplinary research on sustainability. The detailed program is going to be set in the first session.
Learning objectives Participants have in-depth knowledge about thematic and methodological aspects of social science research on sustainability.

Comments MSD 2010:
Only for students with focus area in social sciences; mandatory for those writing a master's thesis within the SRG, voluntary for those, writing the thesis within a different research group.
The colloquium can either be credited for the published module or for the specialization module in social sciences (Learning Contract).

MSD 2017:
Mandatory for all students who have chosen the focus area in social sciences (credits are earned for the module "Preparation master's thesis in Social Sciences" (Learning Agreement).
