Lecturers | Andrew Gloster (andrew.gloster@unibas.ch) |
Content | This lecture will examine intervention strategies in and out of the clinic. Using behavioral science as a guide, we will examine theory, empirical tests, and core mechanisms believed to potentiate desired changes. Successes and failures of interventions will be reviewed and barriers to success identified. Various areas will be surveyed such as psychotherapy, behavioral health, workplace, classroom, as well as larger scale interventions. Students will practice critical thinking and learn how to generate concepts for hypothetical application in areas of their choice. |
