Content | Contract theory deals with the design of economic institutions that are aimed at solving incentive and information problems. The lecture provides an introduction to moral hazard models and to the theory of mechanism design. |
Learning objectives | The students know important concepts and results of the theory of moral hazard and mechanism design, and they are prepared to independently study the vast literature in economics that makes use of these concepts. |

Admission requirements | The course is aimed at students who would like to deepen their knowledge of microeconomic theory and do not shy away from mathematical modelling. |
