50399-01 - Colloquium: Introduction to Ongoing MSD Master's Thesis 1 CP

Content Within the study program of MSD 2017, students have to register 3 times in a 'master's thesis colloquium'. This colloquium 50339 on "ongoing master's thesis" is the first one to be attended (= colloquium A). The participants learn to understand the presented research designs, pose questions, and learn to give feedback.
Learning objectives Students
- learn to perceive and understand other presentations;
- get insights into other SD research topics;
- learn to give constructive, specific feedback and to discuss the presented research topics;
- learn to pose interesting questions on other student’s presentations.
Comments Schedule spring semester 2020:
Meeting 1: 28.02.20: starts at 14.15h (duration depends on the number of presentations).
Meeting 2: 17.04.20: starts at 14.15h (duration depends on the number of presentations).
Meeting 3: 05.06.20: starts at 10.15h (duration depends on the number of presentations).
Details regarding duration of each meeting are published with the program (usually sent out around 10 days before the meeting takes place).

This course is offered by MSD. The professors - Patricia Holm, Paul Burger and Frank Krysiak (lead) are heading the MSD teaching committee.

 

Admission requirements Only for students of the Master's Degree in Sustainable Development MSD 2017.
