55652-01 - Lecture with practical courses: Spin-based Quantum Information Science: Spin Qubit Platforms 4 CP

Semester fall semester 2020
Course frequency Every fall sem.
Lecturers Jelena Klinovaja (jelena.klinovaja@unibas.ch)
Christoph Klöffel (c.kloeffel@unibas.ch)
Daniel Loss (daniel.loss@unibas.ch, Assessor)
Content The central theme of the course on spin-based quantum information science is quantum computation with spin qubits [1,2]. We will study the development of this field of research during the past decades, analyze experimental methods with basic theoretical tools, discuss opportunities and challenges, and learn about the state of the art and the latest research results.
