Lecturers Hannes Weigt (hannes.weigt@unibas.ch, Assessor)

During the spring term electricity markets, environmental issues and renewable energies, energy demand, and competition policy will be discussed. Both lectures can be visited independently. However, the lecture is designed as a joint unit starting in the fall term.
Learning objectives The aim of the lecture is to provide an overview on current developments in global energy markets and link economic theory with the applied problems of energy economics.
