Content In this course students will be introduced to the movements and debates that accompanied decolonisation in the 20th century. To examine the broad and varied historical context of decolonisation in Africa, we will focus on how African, Afro-Caribbean and Latin American thinkers, activists and writers have reflected on them. In particular, we will be examining ideas linked to emancipatory and decolonial futures.
