Content | This is a two-week lab training module for MSc Infection Biology students. Using various laboratory techniques, students will investigate select genes and proteins of the malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum. Lectures and group seminars will introduce concepts, techniques and experimental approaches and stimulate discussions. |
Learning objectives | To learn and apply molecular and cellular biology techniques used in basic infection biology research; to learn to plan, design and conduct project-related research experiments. |
Comments | Two-week lab practical in January 2022 (start date to be determined) The number of participants is limited to 8 students. |
Course application | Only for students of the Master in Infection Biology Program. |
