Semester fall semester 2021
Course frequency Once only
Lecturers Kadiatou Nenein Diallo (k.diallo@unibas.ch)
Henri-Michel Yéré (h.yere@unibas.ch, Assessor)
Content The aim of this course is to reflect upon the ways in which Africa and Africans have projected themselves in the future through history. Taking perspectives from political representations of the future, we will contrast those to artistic takes on the same theme and revisit the theoretical spaces in which these ideas have deployed themselves (Afro-Futurism, for instance).
