60313-01 - Theory seminar: Psychopathology and the RDoC Framework: Relevance in the Workplace and beyond 2 CP

Content In the recent years, the RDoC framework has lead to an increased interest notably (but not only) in psychophysiological markers in relation with mental ill-health. The main goal of this seminar is to examine such literature in the realm of the workplace, and beyond. Following a general introduction and discussion of all the functional constructs of the RDoC framework (e.g., physiology, behavior, self-report), the relevance of these constructs in the assessment of mental health in the general population, employees, as well as patients will be the topic of students presentations (selected papers and chapters which will focus on theoretical concepts an empirical findings). The recent recent literature will make an important part of the readings, while seminal papers will also be discussed. Finally, exercises and questions on discussion forums will also aim to integrate the discussed findings and theoretical constructs.
Learning objectives Acquire the relevant knowledge related to the RDoC framework and its functional factors in relation to mental health; Understand the relevance of physiology, behavior, self-report factors in relation to work and beyond; Develop argumentative and presentation skills; Learn to plan effectively.

August bis 28. August 2022 nehmen die Dozierenden die Einteilung in die Seminare vor und informieren die Studierenden entsprechend.

Assessment details A graded written assessment will take place at the end of the seminar for those wishing to acquire additional credits.

In dieser Veranstaltung können die Studierenden eine Note im Modul Theorie erwerben. Hierfür ist eine zusätzliche schriftliche Leistung erforderlich. Neben der Note gibt es dann noch 2 zusätzliche KPe.
