Content During a PhD project, PhD candidates mainly focus on aspects related to their own research project. In this course, experienced scientists from academic and industry settings will be invited to present their own research, discuss personal milestones towards their current position and critically reflect on opportunities and challenges faced along the way. Guest lectures will be complemented with question-and-answer sessions, selected participants will present their own research projects and groups to the visitors and have the opportunity to get to know the visitor in an informal setting.
Learning objectives At the end of this seminars, participants will understand opportunities and challenges in research and development projects in biomechanics and human movements and have increased their network in the academic and industry environment.

Assessment format continuous assessment
Assessment details Each participant will write a 5-page report on one of the topics of the course including challenges and opportunities. Topics will be assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis (same number of topics per lecturer – Rauter, Viehweger, Mündermann).
