Through a combination of lectures, manuscript clinics, readings and practical written exercises with peer review, the course focuses on how to write effectively, concisely and clearly, and takes students through the steps of preparing a scientific manuscript. Participants Designed primarily for students at the Swiss TPH, the hands-on course is most suitable for participants who have already started some research and are ready to write about their research topic. Priority is given to Master’s students in the Swiss TPH programme. The scheduling, level, content and text types are primarily tailored towards students in the Masters programme. PhD candidates from the Swiss TPH and other students from the university are allowed to attend, space permitting. PhDs and non-Swiss TPH Master students will be added to a waiting list, and notified before the first course date if they have a space or not. |
