Content | Selected topics in advanced causal inference, such as methods for confounding adjustment in longitudinal settings and structure learning of graphical models. |
Admission requirements | Prior exposure to key concepts in causal inference, including the terminology of potential outcomes and causal diagrams (for example to the level covered in Part I of "Hernán MA, Robins JM (2020). Causal Inference: What If. Boca Raton: Chapman & Hall/CRC.", freely available online at https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/miguel-hernan/causal-inference-book/); some familiarity with data analysis, statistical modelling and their implementation in R, at the level of an introductory course. |
