Content Selected topics in advanced causal inference, such as methods for confounding adjustment in longitudinal settings and structure learning of graphical models.

 

Admission requirements Prior exposure to key concepts in causal inference, including the terminology of potential outcomes and causal diagrams (for example to the level covered in Part I of "Hernán MA, Robins JM (2020). Causal Inference: What If. Boca Raton: Chapman & Hall/CRC.", freely available online at https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/miguel-hernan/causal-inference-book/); some familiarity with data analysis, statistical modelling and their implementation in R, at the level of an introductory course.
