65721-01 - Lecture: Nanomedicine 1 CP

Content This course will provide students with a comprehensive introduction to the field of nanomedicine. It will cover the various types and capabilities of nanomedicines, methods for nanoparticle synthesis, addressing drug chemistry and drug liability, physicochemical characterization, the nano-bio interface and important factors influencing biocompatibility, and nanoparticle interactions with the immune system. The lectures will provide case studies on nanoparticle-related ADME-Tox and will also familiarize the students with aspects related to Regulatory Sciences.
Comments Important note for Master Drug Sciences students:
"Nanomedicine" (65721) replaces "Case Studies in Drug Sciences" (19659) within the Master Drug Sciences curriculum. Drug Sciences students who have already completed 19659 need not register for the Nanomedicine lecture.
