Content | This course provides a conceptual and theoretical framework of how sustainable finance and investment issues affect companies, investors, and other stakeholders. Capital market participants around the world are increasingly focusing on sustainability to manage risks and capitalize on new opportunities. It also includes the practices to the management of environmental and climate change-related risks. The goal of this course is to provide students with a firm grounding in the range of issues in sustainability and the application of finance to address it. The course introduces how established practices, procedures, and tools from within the mainstream financial and corporate markets are being adapted to integrate a lens of sustainability in the pursuit of financial performance goals from both an investor and corporate perspective.
