| Content | The lecture consists of one hour of theoretical background and one hour of exercises. In the theory part, the different instruments and phases of policy evaluation are discussed. In the exercise, students learn to use models for ex-ante policy evaluation. For this reason, students will also get acquainted to the programming language GAMS. |
| Learning objectives | Know the different phases of policy evaluation; Have knowledge about the usability and limitation of models in policy evaluation; Work with Computable general equilibrium (CGE) and agent-based models; Have basic knowledge of GAMS |
