Analysis of dc and ac circuits
Calculations of optical system with the approximations of geometrical optics

Comments Capability to manipulate vectors (dot product, cross product) is important. Examples will be included in the lectures. Knowledge of vector calculus (gradient, divergence and curl operators) will aid understanding but is not assumed. The basics of vector calculus will be covered in the lectures.
