Content | This workshop is an extension of "Applied Mixed Methods Research" (66068-01) but can be taken on its own, although a grounding in mixed methods approaches is highly recommended. In this workshop, we will cover advances in mixed methods research beyond the current mainstream. In three presentations, we will break some of the foundational assumptions associated with mixed methods research and reflect on what opportunities this presents for mixed methods research, an application of mixed methods research on textual, i.e. non-numeric, data, and a discussion of the future of mixed methods from a big data and machine learning/AI perspective. |
Learning objectives | The objective of this workshop is to introduce new areas in mixed methods research designs and their impact on research and research designs. |
