Content | Governments provide their citizen access to health care via compulsory health insurance or national health services. The lecture discusses the rationale for rationing health care services, presents different methods for the evaluation of health care services and deals with specific institutions and regualtions established to steer access to health care. |
Learning objectives | To understand the need to regulate access to health care To comprehend the concepts of value of life and health. To learn different approaches for the evaluation of health care services. To apply cost benefit analyis to health and health care services. |
