Content | Drug Sciences cover a broad and highly dynamic spectrum of disciplines ranging from molecular and preclinical research, technical development, and clinical application to epidemiologic, ecologic and historic assessments. In order to provide students with an up-to-date insight into current topics in drug sciences, members of the faculty at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences invite local or international experts from academia, industry, clinics and other area to give a presentation about their area of research/work. |
Learning objectives | The seminar series aims at fostering the students' knowledge about and awareness of current and emerging areas related to the discovery, evaluation and application of pharmaceutical treatment options. |
Bibliography | There is no script available for this seminar series. Individual speakers may provide literature recommendations during their presentation. Copies of the seminar slides are not automatically provided; participants may need to approach the speakers if they are interested in obtaining slide copies. |
Comments | As the seminar series features external speakers, changes in the seminar schedule may occur and individual seminar may need to be canceled. Assessment details | Participants are expected to attend at least 80% of the offered seminar dates in person in order to obtain the credit point. Virtual attendance (Zoom) is only considered if seminars are offered online-only or in cases that prohibit s participation in person (e.g. medical reasons, external work placements, etc.; such exceptions need to be approved). |
