Content | Large-scale studies produce enormous amounts of data and pave the way for novel findings. To achieve this goal, sophisticated data-management and data-mining strategies are necessary. On the one hand this is required for appropriate data handling, on other hand it is a prerequisite to gain insight into the structure of the data. We are looking for motivated master students who will learn to collect high-quality data in a systematic and standardized way in the context of two on-going studies, which are currently conducted in our departments (memory & fMRI study; memory, sleep & EEG study). Furthermore, students should be willing to get familiar with state-of-the-art data-mining strategies and learn to apply these strategies on behavioral, functional and genetic datasets. |
