| Content | Der schottische Philosoph David Hume (1711-1776) gehörte mit Rousseau und Voltaire zu den bekanntesten Intellektuellen der Aufklärung. In dieser Vorlesung werden Themen aus Humes Philosophie behandelt, die die Entwicklung der theoretischen Philosophie bis heute definiert haben, nämlich: Skepsis, Kausalität, Induktion, Evolution, Wunderkritik, Identität. Die Vorlesung wird Humes An Enquiry Concerning Human Understanding (1748) kommentieren und einige wichtige philosophische Reaktionen auf seine Thesen präsentieren. Die Vorlesung ist für Anfänger:innen und Fortgeschrittene geeignet. |
