Content The interdisciplinary seminar is offered in two tracks, differing mainly in the status and role of the associated disciplines. This seminar (19760-01) combines political science, law and economics. It emphasizes the multidisciplinary perspective on certain questions with no particular attention for the integration of the individual disciplines into a new approach. In other words, we expect an analysis of a question from mainly the perspective of one of the three disciplines. However, students are also expected to reflect at the beginning as well as at the end of the paper in which way some aspects may be disregarded in the light of the other disciplines. Students are also welcome to consider a certain questions from the perspective of two (or possibly three) disciplines and elaborate in which way this perspective leads to different conclusions.
Learning objectives The seminar paper should prepare you for your Master thesis research and also give you an opportunity to scientifically engage within a topic of your own interest in the broader area of European/European Global Studies.
Bibliography Individual professors may give ideas for topics, in general, on their homepage which students are welcome to consult.
